A Good Story is Worth Repeating: Neal Rauhauser doing “protective service work”

I do some protective service work, one client is the head of a Washington D.C. NGO that faced a credible death threat last month. Tonight I received information that the source of this threat traced one of the NGO’s volunteers to her home address via Comcast IP, and the location is a relatively short drive away from a man who was arrested last month for criminal harassment almost five hundred miles from his home. I have some genuine concerns for the physical safety of this Comcast customer, and I’d like to talk to someone immediately. We’ve got an annoyed FBI agent who will confirm the back story on this Monday, but the subjects know they’re under some sort of investigation and I’m afraid of what might happen if further info leaks over the weekend. This is a junk box for me – nrauhauser at gmail is the address I check regularly.

The most important part of that post is the part you left out: the response to Neal left in the comment beneath his.

“Then your FBI agent should probably go through the channels
    (http://security.comcast.net/get-help/contact-comcast-security.aspx)
they have to speak to Comcast, especially if it involves a threat to
life and safety. Asking on NANOG for a Comcast contact to give you
customer information (which is what it seems like you’re asking for)
probably isn’t going to help and makes it look more like you’re trying
to social engineer some information than trying to help someone.

    Bob”

Whoever Bob is, he got it 100% right. “Makes it look more like you’re trying
to social engineer some information than trying to help someone.” That’s exactly what Neal did with that post. That’s what all our harassers have been doing. That’s why they suddenly start emailing, pretending to help. Or they tweet disinformation, provoking the targets to defend themselves, revealing information in the process. Or they pretend THEY are the victims, trying to make friends, followers and colleagues distance themselves from us.

Neal is just like a Kevin Mitnick….

    Curious.

“I do not believe Neal has been an internet predator for free. So who’s paying him and why?”

Yeah, his goal seems professional, as odd as that sounds. He wants to do this for a living, or I suppose *is* doing this for a living.

If this turns out to be paid work, I have to wonder who has a motivation to hire him.

Brett, of course. Weaker but plausible candidates are Darrah and Weiner.

In what universe is this not probable cause to search his computer?

    The answer is: this one.

The fact is that this guy, particularly his bud Ron, have managed to jam as much goofy nonsense into this that, at first glance, this seems like a minor but noisy internet squabble. I guess that’s a clever tactic, but hopefully folks learn from this the next time someone happens to be flailing crazily… they might just be trying to divert attention and sow confusion.

Great point. The fact is brutally apparent now: These phony “security companies” and “covert ops” he portrays himself as being a part of have been exposed by his nonsensical outreach to AW offering him “help”…Topped off with a cherry by repeated examples of him and his other pal pleading with others not to make a mention of such communications. And, BTW, nobody commenting (except on the photography lol) of the “gotta go…” post from concern trolls.
Thanks, as always, for the comment.

Dustn definitely makes a very good point. As for I wonder about Project Vigilant. I know that thing is ripe for being twisted into a noise chamber. Yet it certainly shows Neal could have some sort of spy factory contacts. He seems to be doing what Hal Turner was paid to do, “to flush out the crazies.”

Nonetheless, I do believe the screencap above was some sort of fabrication. But then again, part of it is true. I was arrested and subsequently released, because there was no case against me. But what about the part saying “one client is the head of a Washington D.C. NGO?” That might be true. I do not believe Neal has been an internet predator for free. So who’s paying him and why?

It appears the bad guys are on the ropes, and it could be getting much worse for them starting early next week. I’m not a lawyer but believe perjury allegations are going to have to be addressed by Judge Rupp. I think that’s his name.

Aaron Worthing and Beth Kingsley presented the court with a massive chunk of paperwork. It was also sent to me. I sincerely believe there has been a major miscalculation in the reopening of this case. Ron wants folks to believe otherwise, but I truly believe the tables are about to be turned, where plaintiff becomes defendant, and I am 100% exonerated without needing some double secret agreement to be so.
