Journalist Ron Brynaert menaced and intimidated by “D.C. Operative” Neal Rauhauser

Ron Brynaert has done a remarkable job exposing Rauhauser’s vile tactics on his blogspot. The following post comes directly from Ron’s blog.

Stranded Wind aka Neal Rauhauser: The shadowy Democratic operative

In his latest Daily Kos diary, Stranded Wind (and a few socks in the comments section that pretended to be friends with an innocent young woman who is being menaced in Seattle – by using twitter accounts with names like symbolman – and that are connected to The Political Carnival blog and many anti-Palin crusades) either writes satire, highly original snarky superheroic investigative journalism or a smear job: your choice, readers.

“The third wheel here is @ronbryn, who was once a journalist of some note, but he seems to have fallen on hard times. He has some, errr, unique theories about Weinergate, and hackers taking an interest in his landlady’s dog. I’m having trouble following it all, but he was quite active in the discussion with Patterico for a period of time.”

Instead of responding to hundreds of specific tweets and a few different articles I’ve now written, StrandedWind continues to mock and smear and pretend confusion (even though he writes lots of diaries on Weinergate and seems to be able to sniff everything before it happens, perhaps he studied under Jerome Armstrong aka Vis Numar or Sen. Mary Landrieu office invader James O’Keefe, whose early writings at college, as I’ll examine in a future post – but tweeted about already – seem very Seattle-riot-smash-the-state-anarchisticish).

The only “hard times” I’m under is being menaced by hackers who have harassed conservative bloggers they disagree with and at least three innocent women, not to mention an elderly couple. I was bombarded with nasty mentions and retweets on the Fourth of July for nearly 24 hours. Why doesn’t StrandedWind take a picture of that and write an all-American diary about the hatred and mocking I endured.

There are 2,248 comments on this Patterico post written on 6/30/11, but for some reason Neal Rauhauser isn’t following the majority of the commenters like @wittier and @rocksem who seem to be obsessed with Weinergate, and smearing me, my friends, and my sources ( http://www.patterico.com/2011/06/30/someone-smarter-than-me-explain-why-this-is-not-possible ).

And he deliberately distorts my story that I tweeted about how my landlady called a bogus 911 call on me and sent my late dad’s dog to the dog pound, which I never blamed on hackers. That’s the StrandedWind (and Blogfather of Daily Kos himself, Markos Moulitsas) method of operation: ignore information, focus on a detail that is either wrong or bizarre, mock, pretend confusion, clown around, insinuate that the person is hysterical or crazy or mental or jealous or has a grudge. But never truly responding to the questions.

StrandedWind’s full diary at Daily Kos – along with comments by his socks – can be read at this link: http://www.dailykos.com/story/2011/07/17/995635/-Weinergate:-Patterico’s-Petulance

The next step will probably be to continue the same pattern or write a serious-sounding post explaining things or a sympathy diary designed to get the Daily Kos faithful to feel bad about his own health and/or troubles).

Original post follows:

Stranded Wind’s Profile at http://www.dailykos.com/user/Stranded Wind

Grassroots infrastructure guy, knowledge & security engineering, Anonthropologist, John Bosley to the Anonymiss Angels, user & maker of maps of all sorts. Helped to create Progressive Congress News, worked 44 elections in 2010
UID: 145682 Joined:Dec 24, 2007

March 23, 2011: “Aspects of Anonymous” by StrandedWind aka Netroots radical grass roots activist leader and secretive Democratic operative Neal Rauhauser:

“Anonymous has been around for a good long while. The world noticed when the collective took up the Guy Fawkes masks during the scuffle with the Church of Scientology in 2008, but I had met some of the hackers who bedeviled the church a decade before this. Keep in mind that anyone who tells you there is a leader or formal structure is either confused or teasing. There are organizations with agendas that blend in with the group, but collectively those involved are adamant that there is no hierarchy. It’s the leaderless resistance postulated by the American right, only their sole cause seems to be resisting classification.”

“Today journalists with no background and no contacts, triggered by the Wikileaks imbroglio, are struggling to understand and report on this flashy, theatrical, and yet highly secretive social phenomenon. I set aside my black hat many years ago, but recent events have compelled me to pay attention at the level of ghosting along with a few of the major groups so that none of the things I’m responsible for get blindsided. If you’re going to report on this stuff you have to understand a bit about hackers, trolls, the places they frequent, and their values.”

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2010/08/20/894770/-Conspiracy-Theory?via=user

August 20, 2010 “Conspiracy Theory” by Neal Rauhauser writing as StrandedWind at Daily Kos:

“One of the tools used by the mainstream media to disengage citizens from participating democracy is the subtle backing of conspiracism. This is a multifaceted phenomenon that needs to be dealt with forcefully, but it’s hard to know where to begin.”

More interesting StrandedWind excerpts to come in a future post, which might be at a different blog since I got weird hits from an uploaded image at Wikipedia.org at http://www.aanewz.blogspot.com shortly after my first posts.

The following is a post that I put up at my last blog with more background on Neal R:

Neal R. watches my Tweets but I can’t read his

Introduction and semi-disclaimer:* I’m not revealing all my phone and Twitter interactions with Neal Rauhauser now since he appears to be using everything I publicly write (or send in emails or DMs) against me already. I also want to remind everyone that it’s hard to tell what is what since hackers can send fake Direct Messages on Twitter and do all kinds of other dirty tricks. I’ve been getting punk’d for a while now, I realize, and other people I’m writing about may be victims, as well. Perhaps even Neal R., but if so, they are using HIS playbooks. *I barely even knew Neal existed until Jen Preston from The New York Times asked me on June 23 – spelling his first name wrong and not telling me his last: “who is neil r?”I sent her a bunch of DMs asking what his last name was that she probably never received and we had a few odd phone calls where she ducked the question and wouldn’t answer me why she was also talking to Lee Stranahan.I’m almost certain Jennifer Preston of The New York Times has been punk’d, although her role in getting New York Times reporters on to social networking sites so that hackers can take advantage of reporters smells a bit fishy, and honestly, it’s hard to tell even if Neal R. or Lee Stranahan sent what they sent to me since TWITTER AND FACEBOOK CAN DEFINITELY BE HACKED.Then on June 26, Preston warned me that he was a “dangerous” Democratic operative, oddly misspelling his name again.

Goatsred followed me late in the evening on June 25th after I publicly tweeted that I thought he got a raw deal in the Weinergate scandal, smeared at the Smoking Gun and Daily Kos for meaningless private and fantastical things he did or didn’t do in the past.

Mike Stack mentioned Neal’s name in a direct message to me that night, then the next day Neal R. DM’d me on June 26th and told me he had a scoop about Weinergate. After I sent him my phone number I got strange texts that I googled and found were potential spam sites that hackers might use to trap your personal information. He ducked my calls and DMs even though I knew he was reading them on Twitter – you can see when someone’s on twitter on the left side of your screen in the DM section.

That same day he wrote a note to someone who used to work with me at a former job, asking, “I see from Twitter, Did he leave /w personality rub, or was there an ethics problem? Sounds like he’s just out, minor drama /w John (Byrne?) when he leave. I want to make sure not another Clayton Ryan type character.”

I never heard of Clayton Ryan before, but he appears to be some Daily Kos diarist who accused Andrew Breitbart of outrageous things (like the kind of stuff Neal himself does). More can be read on Clayton Ryan at this link: http://www.bigjournalism.com/pjsalvatore/2011/06/24/ryan-clayton-owes-andrew-breitbart-an-apology/

Then Neal R. called me two days later when I told him I only wanted him to DM me and proceeded to brag about how he worked on 44 Democratic campaigns – like it proudly says on his Daily Kos profile at http://www.dailykos.com/user/Stranded%20Wind – 29 under the table in secret because he was being threatened and harassed by the right.

I immediately stopped him and told him that that was against FEC laws and that I didn’t want to hear anything else that he had to say, and we began arguing with each other. I told him I’d only talk on Twitter and we did (you can see the tweets we shared that day where he made indirect threats to my family, twice after I asked him not to….or maybe you can’t since he protected his tweets).

Our phone call was a little bit over ninety seconds long.

On June 28, Neal Rauhauser sent a smear letter about me to some bloggers, claiming that he was “treated to ten minutes of him ranting about all sorts of things I’ve supposedly done.”

StrandedWind, the Daily Kos smear specialist, added, among other things, “So, maybe this is a manic phase for someone bipolar, maybe late onset schizophrenia given that he had a good job with Raw Story for about four years, but this is a person who is not well.”

Rauhauser – who has written a number of diaries at Daily Kos using the name StrandedWind on how to confuse your perceived enemies by spreading misinformation and slander for a greater cause – added, “any information he might think he has is extremely suspect given his mental state.”

“Come on comic book villain too chicken to say an out and out threat, but willing to hint at it because of perversity…” I tweeted to Neal Rauhauser aka StrandedWind on June 29th after he made three indirect threats to my family.

Neal R. replied, “Threats require a time, a place, a method. They’re actually quite rare on the intert00bz. Menacing behavior is much more common”

Shortly after menacing me, I guess Neal Rauhauser decided to menace the innocent Jennifer George in California.

subject Researching Weiner stalking, not interested in you

Jennifer,

So, I am researching the Weiner stalking, I have a short list of people I know were involved, a few more that I think were involved, and I might spend another month or three watching and gathering info. You’re not on my list at all. I do like Ginger Lee, Meagan Broussard, Mike Stack, and I think I know where to find the person who posed as Dan Wolfe.

I see this tiresome Stranahan fellow bothering you, and maybe this Patterico creature would like to get into the act, too. Sorry to hear you’re facing this – they pulled something similar to Weinergate with me last fall, but I’m not a big fish like Weiner so it didn’t go anywhere. But that’s why I take this stuff so seriously.

Maybe you’ve been told things that would help me solve the puzzle. Feel free to whisper in my ear if that’s the case, either from this one or anonymously – my email is quite public. If you’re sick of it all and just want it to stop I can understand that, too …

Neal Rauhauser aka StrandedWind made his tweets private on June 29 after indirectly threatening my family three times but he keeps a list online of everything Patterico, Stranahan and I say on twitter (or what I say and he’s writing on the other two hacked accounts perhaps). StrandedWind’s mysterious followers with fake names and scary avatars on twitter accounts are really interested in what I write.

Neal’s file is called “Patterico Stranahan Meltdown” and atop the five pages it says @nealrauhauser/goatsred” List View.

You can see it below ( http://www.scribd.com/doc/60208498/Patterico-Stranahan-Meltdown#fullscreen:on ) until Neal R scrubs it from the net.

Here’s one exchange we had, notice how he ducked my serious question, taunted me and mocked me as insane, just how his strandedwind strategy tactic pamphlets at Daily Kos (or expunged from the internet) advise:

Stranded Wind, Kid Kenoma & The Last Statue game

Update: Code found by using the View Source function on the front page of Kid Kenoma blog which appears to be blocking Weinergate sites and twitter accounts…there is also an email address attached to Starchild111 in the code.

The following links were found inside Kid Kenoma’s html code (copy and pasting everything on this blog made all the words below disappear…and the source code might also indicate that the hashtag #fuckyouwashington may be playing some kind of role in blocking our sites) or I could be totally wrong…just trying to figure out strange things:

The email address attached to Starchild 111 is jsexton@socal.rr.com and I found a blog attached to it via a Google search called Red Blue Christian.

http://www.redbluechristian.com/?p=741

This is the Lane Lipton tweet, which implies that jsexton really left the referred comment: “I’m curious if @blogarsay authored this comment: http://t.co/ktB0YC6 & if so, why she thought story was “ridiculous” Or was it impersonator?”

This is from the About page for Red Blue Christian http://www.redbluechristian.com/?page_id=2 : “RedBlueChristian.com is a group blog founded by Dr. Andrew Jackson in July 2006. This Christian political blog functions within the online stable of SmartChristian.com, and it is primarily about the Kingdom of God and its relationship (not its fusion) to American politics and public policy. We believe that our biblical faith should inform and empower our political engagement, and not be artificially separated from it.”

John Sexton also blogs at http://www.VerumSerum.com (twitter handle: @verumserum ) and has done extensive Weinergate reporting

He sent this letter to the innocent Jennifer George in California, as documented at her website:

subject Weinergate story

Hey, I believe you were contacted by Lee Stranahan today. I’m also a blogger/writer working on this story. I don’t know if you’re the Jennifer George we’re looking for, but there is some evidence pointing in that direction.

Was hoping you’d be willing to talk about this and help me clear it up.

You can email me or, if you prefer, call me anytime tomorrow at [Redacted].

John Sexton
Verum Serum

Just like Lee Stranahan, Sexton had absolutely nothing to ask the innocent George. And why would he write her when Stranahan already did? The purpose, apparently, was solely to menace and create confusion, and try to blame Jennifer Preston for harassment.

According to the About page at Verum Serum, “John is a contributor at Andrew Breitbart’s Big Journalism and also to Hot Air’s Green Room.”

Sexton also has a anti-healthcare blog called Dr. Gov: This Might Hurt http://www.drgov.com/?page_id=2

From the about page:

The Obama administration is pushing for a government provided “medicare option” for all US citizens. Recent comments by Rep. Schakowskyindicate that this is merely the camel’s nose under the tent. The real goal is a Canadian style single-payer system.

Unfortunately, most Americans aren’t familiar with the astounding, often life threatening stories of government run health care systems that regularly appear in foreign papers. Dr. Gov is intended to be an online repository of media reports, stories and information about the many wonders of government run health care. Take some time and read through the archives. You’ll be glad you did.

Dr. Gov was created and is maintaned by John Sexton. His other blog Verum Serum.com, has been in steady operation since 2004.

One “exclusive” that Verum Serum broke was related to the alleged “boyfriend” of “Ethel.”

“This afternoon, not long after news broke that police had showed up at the door of a Delaware high school student who reportedly had contact with Rep. Weiner, my co-blogger Morgen discovered something interesting,” Sexton blogged.

Adding, “Here’s what Morgen discovered this afternoon. This comes from the feed of a boy we now know to be Ethel’s boyfriend”

I don’t know how Sexton knows who the “boyfriend” of “Ethel” is, but one of her main friends was Shamus Clancy and he can’t be her boyfriend since he had multiple tweets indicating that he was gay, and they each shared tweets with his boyfriend (whose name I don’t recall, both twitter accounts were deleted last week) and I believe they joked about being a threesome couple kind of like in the TV show Parks and Recreation.

http://www.verumserum.com/?p=25608

See this post for more on Shamus Clancy and the hacking of Rep. Weiner account: http://ronbryn.blogspot.com/2011/07/maggie-henningg-with-two-gs-and-shamus.html

Did Sexton just sock puppet as Starchild111 and/or Jennifer George on blogs? Or was he the one that hacked an innocent woman’s account, who stopped tweeting in 2009?

(Note: I notice the hacking has turned apostrophes into weird question marks, just like what happened to hacked stories at Raw Story)

There is also a link to a picture of a third Jennifer George, who lives abroad, that I won’t be posting…and a picture of the avatar cloned account that is apparently controlling Patterico’s tweets, as well: http://si0.twimg.com/profile_images/1344331475/Mary_Mamba_Duquan_reasonably_small.jpg

Please see this story for more on hacking of Patterico by cloned Ethylkxa account: http://www.ronbryn.blogspot.com/2011/07/more-proof-patterico-twitter-was-hacked.html

Original story follows:

On July 4th, Democratic operative Neal Rauhauser spent Independence Day posting a smear diary up at Daily Kos against “Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney John Patrick Frey, who writes under the pen name Patterico (say: pat-uh-RI-co).”

A mysterious “someone” is allegedly forwarding evidence to Rauhauser aka Stranded Wind, who allegedly worked on 44 Democratic campaigns, 29 potentially without informing the Federal Election Commission, and who thinks international anarchists hacking into the Arizona law enforcement server is “good clean fun, @LulzSec style – Arizona cops get their pants yanked down around their ankles, the author of this mischief is probably a resident of Europe using a cracked server in Asia and they’ll never find the guy, but the big picture is a little more serious”.

More at this diary: http://www.dailykos.com/story/2011/06/24/988269/–LulzSec-Hits-Arizona-Law-Enforcement-

Later in his July 4th diary – while I was being menaced by hackers to give up sources who had been receiving threats – StrandedWind adds, “This link is to a PDF I created from Kid Kenoma’s blog, which I did because this seemed important. If you Google “Seth Allen Kid Kenoma” there is a lot of additional information on this guy.”

More here: http://www.dailykos.com/story/2011/07/04/991382/-Weinergate:-Pattericos-Penalization

And more at Neal Rauhauser’s Scribd site, where his followers can examine all his “evidence”: http://www.scribd.com/doc/59214070/Kidkenoma-Seth-Allen

At his blog, Kid Kenoma wrote a number of blog posts on Seth Allen aka Socrates (a shady character that uses tons of alias from Dave Weintraub to Dave From Queens to who knows how many other aliases and whose ideology seems to be all over the map and who seems to like to play the “good cop” role) and Patterico (the only good guy in this particular blog posting) and their argument with Brett Kimberlin and Brad Friedman.

Almost any one sentence from any one post is all it takes to see through Kid Kenoma. In March, Kid Kenoma writes, “At any rate, I think Soc is in good hands over at the Patterico tea party. After all, Patterico is said to be, or to have been employed, by the LA District Attorney’s Office.”

See more here: http://www.kidkenoma.wordpress.com/2011/03/07/more-patterico-socrates-resume/

This blog posting is similar to tactics that Rauhauser has written about in a number of diaries under the name Stranded Wind for Daily Kos.

Smear, confuse and lie: Patterico is not affiliated with the Tea Party, still works as a deputy District Attorney and, as he wrote in 2005, “I am conservative but not doctrinally so: for example, I am pro-gay rights; in favor of a ‘beyond all possible doubt’ standard for death-penalty cases (and am very concerned about innocents on Death Row); anti-Ann Coulter, Bill O’Reilly, and other conservatives whose rantings give sensible conservatives a bad name.”

See more here: http://www.patterico.com/2005/05/08/tell-us-about-yourselves

But in a posting in December of 2009, Kid Kenoma revealed that his blog and others were just a game meant to mess with real live people.

Read on:

OK, let’s say that there is a discussion about the Franklin pedophilia scandal amongst oh-so-cool self-appointed experts that infest the Rig-Int board, who dimly realize that an understanding of the “Project Monarch” speculations is crucial to determining the veracity of the rather shocking claims by victims of the Franklin pedophilia cartel. Yet how curiously uninformed about all of this the “experts” seem to be.

The topic is a crucially important and potentially explosive one,

and therefore saturated with all of the disinfo tactics that the

cryptocracy can muster, and I’m sure you’ll agree, their resources

are considerable.

…….

My friends in British Columbia, in far-flung canuck grottos like Lillooetand Kelowna, occasionally use the expression “smokanagan” which seems to be in popular usage at least in that region, as well as the fine blog by Natalee Taylor, who hails from Kelowna, and has a radio show with similarly regional themes on Virgin Radio. The inference by certain shrill paranoid scumbags, that this is in some way a personal reference, are, as usual, completely erroneous.

98% of the posts on this blog consist of lyrics from popular songs, some of which, when isolated from the music in a focused context, might very well be interpreted as having references to themes that are often very consistent with psy-ops and ritual abuse, particularly young children.

This has gone on for decades, seemingly unnoticed and almost never commented upon. It didn’t just start with Lady Gaga.

If you find this content to be “creepy”, then this presentation has been effective, and you, clearly stupified RI board, need to realize your issues are with the beloved pop-icons who create & promote this stuff, not with me.

As though “investigators” too fuckin’ stew-ped to tell the difference
between a meta-fiction and an ARG, and too mindless in their shark-like feeding-frenzy to ask or even actually check the material in question to determine such, are gonna make great insightful probes for the “truth” in 911 or Franklin scandal?

As fucking IF.

Get over it assholes. Your reaction to the concept of “ARG” is an exact parallel to Scientologists encountering the concept of “Xenu”. A complete irrational immersion in lynch-mob mentality.

You have exposed yourselves for what you truly are: bloated, pathetic self promoting hypocrites who do nothing but muddy the waters on serious issues with your strutting peacock personas and constant derailing of threads, to blab incessantly about yourselves and to launch moderator-sanctioned personal attacks on those with whom you disagree.

By the way, both Untermuyer and Kidkenoma blogs, and an unspecified number of other sites across the net, are extensions of The Last Statue, and, as I’m sure you are becoming slowly aware, much to your shuddering dismay, you are all now de facto characters in TLS as well.

The bad news is, we can’t pay per diem at this phase of the “arrangement”, but we’ll cut you in for a slice once the movie rights are finalized. We would, of course, implore all concerned to be more interesting if at all possible. Otherwise, you may go back to what you were doing, at least until the King in Yellow gets here.

Good luck on that.

Browse this blog with a halfway open mind and you just might learn something.

Ye who enter here with preconceptions fueled by ignorance, malevolence, and hostility, will most certainly reap what ye sow.

Kid Kenoma revealed in December of 2009 that “both Untermuyer and Kidkenoma blogs, and an unspecified number of other sites across the net, are extensions of The Last Statue, and, as I’m sure you are becoming slowly aware, much to your shuddering dismay, you are all now de facto characters in TLS as well.”

Googling The Last Statue took me to http://www.laststatue.wikispot.org/Front_Page

Sometime early in 2009 a story called The Last Statue appeared at the website of literary agency Margaras Media. The author is unknown. The purpose is unknown.

The story is a lightly fictionalized and highly condensed tour of the dark occult-tinged underbelly of modern history, or perhaps we should say postmodern history. Every character name, every place name, every event has at least one if not more correlations with history as we know it. Or think we know it.

Much of the story is set at the tail end of the hippie generation and its ungraceful, sad and pathetic descent into what is only discussed in polite society with downward glances and whispered tones as “the 70′s”.

But right off the bat you notice that many of the character names come from an earlier time, a time in which the mystical and the rational were duking it out, It was the time of intellectual rebirth, but also a time of occult explorations. The time of Shakespeare and John Dee. It was the time of transition, in [WWW]John Crowley’s terms, from Aegypt to Egypt.

But there is, as they say, more to the story. Perhaps much more. Somehow, in ways not yet understood at all, the story has entwined itself with some very dark events of very recent history. The most prominent such event is the deaths of Theresa Duncan and Jeremy Blake. As it so happens, Theresa Duncan was onto something, or something was onto her. Her now-famous blog, The Wit of the Staircase, is riddled with hints, clues and allusions to…

…to something.

And whatever that something is, the Last Statue is pointing in the same direction.

Three of us have started on an adventure to unravel this incredibly complex story, and perhaps more will join us. Others may choose simply to watch our progress from the safety of the sidelines. Still others may wonder if the sidelines really are so safe, after all.

If you choose to join us, you can start right now. Here is all you need:

Equipment required:

One internet.
One open mind.
One library card (or Amazon account).
A pencil might be handy, too.

Skills required:

The ability to entertain several mutually contradictory hypotheses at the same time.
The ability to remain composed in times of emotional turmoil.
The ability to stay grounded when staring down the impossible.

A blogger named Ty Brown at a blog called Dream’s End wrote in February of 2010,

So a new blog has appeared explaining the Last Statue and Kid Kenoma as works of “metafiction” which have nothing to do with the actual Theresa Duncan and Jeremy Blake. They just, it seems, got carried away in their “roles”, something they now regret. (Special note, it is possible Kid Kenoma/Tina Delgado/Terilee does not yet realize she is fiction so please be gentle with her.)

I think we might as well reprint the whole explanation here, but you can read it in the original over at Obermeyer777.

It would have been better if it had been titled “I’m Sorry…” but enough inside jokes. Here is the post.

Time Out and Time for Apologies.

Hello everyone. Taking the mask off for a minute here. (Yes, sincerely.) First of all, thank you for reading and for your interest in The Last Statue. It’s really been a blast thus far, hasn’t it? (Don’t worry–it’s not over!) A lot of work has been put into this by our small team, and we’re pretty proud of it. What great reactions we’ve had from all you fans out there. You guys are blowing us away! (No pun intended–this time ;) )

But–and this is a big “but”; I do not break the fourth wall lightly–the artists here at TLS have started to think that we might’ve gone a little too far with a couple things. It was always our intention to push the envelope, but I want to set the record straight and offer some apologies. (Whew! I hope everyone can appreciate how hard it is to type this. Our work is absolutely sacrosanct to us and it’s not fun to second-guess your creative process.) Anyway, enough beating around the burning bush, right? Here goes:

  • No one involved with TLS knew Theresa Duncan or Jeremy Blake. Theremy was a powerful leitmotif to incorporate, and we ran with it. And while, yes, it was meant to make people question their comfort zones, no disrespect was ever meant to any of Theremy’s friends or family–we’re deeply sorry if that wasn’t clear. We’ve done what we wanted with that part of the story, so let’s all just move on now. We thank Theremy for their posthumous participation, and may those two fellow travelers rest in peace. (And FWIW, we honestly love Chop Suey.)
  • While everyone should absolutely feel free to continue researching the various topics we incorporate into the plotline, don’t expect that you’re going to “get it” or that it’s going to fit into a “neat little box.” TLS is part of something known as metafiction, which some people may not be familiar or comfortable with yet. Audience misinterpretation was understood as a risk when we decided to use elements of new age culture, but this is no Dan Brown novel! The Last Statue has more in common with Mathew Barney’s Cremaster series, or a Louis-Ferdinand Céline composition (although it’s beyond those, as well). Not gonna apologize for it (can I get a hell yeah?), but I did think it was important to clear that up. :)
  • If anybody out there wasn’t comfortable with the extent of TLS’s direct, personal interaction–sorry about that. As any performer will attest, it’s not difficult to lose some “mundane” perspective when you’re in character. And remember that no one’s ever done this kind of thing before! We’re all learning, and it should be exciting for you to be involved in something of this magnitude.

So there you have it. “Mea culpa,” as Father Morales might put it. We hope you continue to love the mindbender known as The Last Statue. You’re of course already familiar with two of our main characters, obermeyer777 and kidkenoma, but have you figured out who else is part of this wicked little tale? ;) Just teasing–or am I? You’ll have to wait and see!

And hey, does anyone have contact info for Thomas Pynchon’s literary agent? If so, please pass it along! We think TP would really love this.

Alright–game on! Who’s up to bust some Scientologist chops!

Love under law,

#26 (“obermeyer777″)

http://www.margarasmedia.com/

By the way, I have no independent evidence that the writer of Obermeyer777 has anything to do with The Last Statue whatsoever. So I am not vouching for them. And no, I did not write the posts on Obermeyer but add it to the long list of things I have been accused of writing.

Markos, Beth Becker, Neal R create Watcher to Menace Me

Hackers controlled by Ken Danieli, Neal Rauhauser, Beth Becker, and Markos Moulitsas Zúñiga have been menacing me since the last week of June.

Today they created a personal spam bot to follow me. To make me look “crazy” they keep deleting the Twitter account and restarting it under a slightly different name after I block it, because they’d rather avoid hard questions and also seem to believe that they won’t go to jail for countless cybercrimes they have helped commit with Anonymous hacking groups the last month (and for who knows how long).

Googling the name Watcher762 brought up a website called xPosing Forum, which appears to be some kind of hacker trap to link me to porn or something (don’t click on the link for the google search on watcher762 ): http://www.google.com/search?q=watcher762&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&source=hp&channel=np

“@ronbryn Well, that’s lunch. I hope tomorrow’s session is more productive,” is the third tweet that @watcher762 now called @Watcher36 made today, all directed at me.

What I Just Wrote The FBI

Hackers led almost definitely by Neal Rauhauser – a Democratic operative who claims to have worked illegally and secretly on 29 out of 44 campaigns and has written countless diaries at the Daily Kos website supporting the actions of Anonymous hackers and smearing campaigns against critics and what he refers to as beandog cyberbullying insults – have been menacing me ever since New York Times reporter Jennifer Preston asked me to defend an article I helped her with on Twitter: http://www.nytimes.com/2011/06/18/nyregion/fake-identities-were-used-on-twitter-to-get-information-on-weiner.html?_r=1

I used to be the executive editor for http://www.rawstory.com but I’ve been trying to get a job in the mainstream media by working with journalists at Mother Jones and MSNBC and The NY Times the last few months, and I tweet at http://www.twitter.com/ronbryn

Even though I’m liberal I wanted to help conservative bloggers who received death threats and innocent women who have been harassed by Weinergate conspiracy theorists. More information can be found at the website for one of the harassed women: http://www.jennifergeorge.com/weiner.html

My phone and yahoo email account I’m almost certain are tapped…and since hackers make fake calls and send out fake emails I haven’t been able to use either for almost a month.

I know this sounds like a nutty conspiracy story but I’m sure you’re all well aware of the widespread pranking, obvious hacking of journalists’ accounts, and spreading of fake news that has really ramped up over the last five weeks, I believe because they are using international visitors to the US to help with their mischief. Kids fly back and forth, thanks to agencies owned by people connected to Democratic and Republican operatives, and get places to crash in return for pulling pranks that are untraceable. I

I can’t call the NYPD, frankly, because Mayor Bloomberg recently hired Howard Wolfson, who might be involved.

But, at the same time, with so many pranks and hacked Twitter accounts, it’s hard to tell what’s real and what’s not. I believe my landlord and super and a known hacker named Gig who lives across the street have been playing pranks and keeping an eye on me. I also believe that the local Queens Democratic club hacked the local GOP website two years ago…and might be involved now.

Or it’s just a few kids playing games.

But this latest Neal Rauhauser diary is a threat against me: http://www.dailykos.com/story/2011/07/29/1000578/-Ethical-Dilemma:-Harassed-By-A-Confused-Man?via=user

I have been told a hacker filled out a false FBI harassment report against me, but I don’t know if it’s true. I’ve been under the impression that I was assisting a deputy District Attorney named Patrick Frey in Los Angeles but since we can’t contact, it’s frustrating.

If I am being “used” to help catch hackers, then I’ll continue to tweet & blog. I want to cooperate with all agencies probing all hackers. But I really would like to talk to someone at least.

Andrew Breitbart and Dana Loesch already had Weiner pics

I should note to readers unfamiliar with post-Weinergate events that I worked with New York Times reporter Jen Preston on an article published on June 17 which revealed that two of the teens in the scandal were fake.

Shortly after, Preston and I were both punk’d by pranksters – who are affiliated with Democratic operative Neal Rauhauser, Anonymous and 4chan hackers – and my email accounts and phone were hacked, and we haven’t spoken since June 27 after I publicly complained about being left to hang out to dry since she had asked me to defend our work on Twitter, making me a target for hackers.

Preston told me Rauhauser was “dangerous” and he made indirect threats to my family and sent smear letters after we argued on the phone because he bragged about his apparently illegal secret involvement in 29 Democratic campaigns.

Don’t Make 911 Calls, A Neal Rauhauser Threatens Me

Update: Tweets by an anonymous troll called Stormpeedo which include threatening statements directed at Patterico – a Los Angeles deputy district attorney – resemble emails Twittergate mastermind/hoaxer Neal Rauhauser sent me.

From: neal rauhauser
To: Ron Brynaert
Sent: Wednesday, September 28, 2011 2:46 AM
Subject: Re: You’ll need to offer a correction

“Breitbart or Patterico sends someone, perhaps the same person who posed as Dan Wolfe, to convince you that they are pursuing him. My take is that this is one of them, perhaps James O’Keefe, and they’re using you to muddy the water.

However, I have consistently held to the belief that it was always Breitbart at the root, with Patterico either running the whole thing, or O’Keefe running it and Patterico being called in when it blew up in their face – he’s served as a fixer of sorts with their ACORN mess.

We’ll know more based on Kimberlin’s discovery in his suit against Seth Allen. They don’t seem inclined to disclose any more online despite the chatter that has popped up on qritiq and kidkenoma.

stef says to invite you for coffee tomorrow. I know you won’t come, but I had to mention it.”

In a prior email, Rauhauser claimed, “Oh, I know who runs stormpeedo, certainly, but it ain’t me. If you have any specific message I will pass it along.”

And in another email to me, Rauhauser wrote,

“I just went and read stormpeedo’s Twitter – I can see where you might think it was me. One of the things we do is coach people in how to take on a persona – Stormy has been working on that for a while, changing voices and perspectives. I guess today was sound like Neal day. They can do a pretty good Darrah Ford, and I think they can probably mimic a beandog, or @ronbryn for that matter. It’s not hard to do, you just have to get into the right mindset.

I wish you luck on pursuing that one, the person has some skills, and they really don’t want to be found. I don’t actually know a name/location, not even sure how they knew to come to me – probably an old hacker contact having some fun.”

In reaction to this blog post, Neal Rauhauser emailed me, “Patterico won’t unban you, Ron. You’re just too weird and unstable, and they have other troubles in their lives right now.”

(Update at bottom: Response to this post by “a Neal Rauhauser”)

I keep getting menacing emails from a troll who might be Neal Rauhauser or might not be. Either way, the emails are almost definitely sanctioned by him, since these are the games he likes to play, along with his fellow clowns Andrew Breitbart and Lee Stranahan.

(Disclosure: Some of my responses to this troll were quite nasty, in the hopes of trying to get a rise out of him, so he’d get sloppy, as has happened in the past when dealing with 4chan hacker anonymous trolls.)

Here’s two from today:

http://ronbryn.blogspot.com/2011/09/dont-make-911-calls-neal-rauhauser.html

Dear blogs and media, Did you get this smear letter?

Since helping New York Times reporter Jennifer Preston report a story about how fake identities were used on Twitter to get information on former Congressman Weiner I’ve been menaced in a number of ways: Preston lied to me and burnt me after asking me to defend her against conservatives linked to Andrew Breitbart and James O’Keefe on Twitter; someone posted a copy of an expunged arrest at Patterico’s website on a post with 3,765 mostly menacing comments and many making ridiculous accusations against me and my sources; LA Deputy District Attorney Patterico claims I made a fake 911 call during a conversation I was having with him which would be impossible to do, said he would sic a “mad” New Jersey cop after me, then posted pictures of his wife shooting targets at a firing range; and Neal Rauhauser sent a smearing letter to my ex-employers and then wrote another one which he sent to at least two bloggers.

Rauhauser is completely tied to hacker groups such as LulzSec and he often bragged about his connections before getting banned there in diaries like this one laughing about how they broke into Arizona law enforcement computers.

He was banned after writing a diary – that Daily Kos mods refuse to make public again or send to me – about how he might send hackers and trolls after me…which wasn’t even honest….since he already had weeks prior to pretending if he should or not.

Background info on how Neal Rauhauser, who is tied to the Netroots and used to post at Daily Kos under the name Stranded Wind, can be read throughout this blog and at these two links, especially: Stranded Wind aka Neal Rauhauser: The shadowy Democratic operative and Don’t Make 911 Calls, A Neal Rauhauser Threatens Me.

This is one smear letter Rauhauser sent to bloggers about me:

I’m certain other journos and bloggers got this email – or a similar one – about me, too, but they are too cowardly to admit it.

Subject: Regarding Ron Brynaert
To: patterico@gmail.com, lee@stranahan.com

Ron called me a few days ago and I’ve been really under the
weather, so I just got around to calling him back today. I had sent a
note to Mike Rogers at Raw Story, as a way to background check, and
what came back was “We do not comment on former employees”.

Even before we spoke there was something odd – he was getting some
bulk text “sign up for debt reduction” stuff, which he blamed on me
because he’d texted as well as called me.

I rang, he answered, and I was treated to ten minutes of him ranting
about all sorts of things I’ve supposedly done. He’d ask a question,
take a breath, I’d get out four or five words and then he’d be off
again. Crazy stuff, like do I work for Soros, every sock puppet he’s
ever seen is my system, I’m Dan Wolfe, etc, etc.

So, maybe this is a manic phase for someone bipolar, maybe late
onset schizophrenia given that he had a good job with Raw Story for
about four years, but this is a person who is not well. I sent him
packing with a relatively polite, but public “You’re not well” and
this seems to have set him off even further.

I guess he has been attempting to reach Jen Preston, too.

https://twitter.com/NYT_JenPreston/status/85902128933126144

If you guys haven’t talked to him I strongly suggest a phone call
before you treat him as any sort of source – no good will come of
winding up someone in his condition, and any information he might

My response to this is to definitely check out the article written that was a referrer to this blog today:-http://my.firedoglake.com/donkeytale/2011/12/24/the-troll-wars-3-5/ . “donkeytale” is the author and although this blog is listed in the body of the post, there is neither positivity or negativity directed here. I will be following due to the simple fact that it was written today and some of the other blogs that are listed with mine.

My opinion is that Mark Rasch’s name isn’t just being dropped and it’s certainly not an after-thought. It’s tied directly in with what’s going on with Anonymous, a group that defends Bradley Manning and Wikileaks to no end. The strange bed-fellows in this segment is putting it mildly. Check this out….

If you look at this article in the Weekly Standard entitled, “The Martyrdom of Bradley Manning – The left has a new hero“, you’ll see how a lot of this comes together.

    http://www.weeklystandard.com/articles/martyrdom-bradley-manning_526880.html

This article revolves around Bradley Manning, an Army Intelligence Analyst stationed in Iraq during May, 2010 and was busted for allegedly handing over 260,000 classified government documents to Julian Assange, creator of Wikileaks. (trial pending)

Kevin Poulsen of Wired.com was among the first to report on Manning’s arrest. Ironically, Poulsen was a hacker himself and prior to his journalist stint, he was busted when Mark Rasch headed the Department of Justice’s cybercrime unit. You would think they’re not exactly friends here, right? Wrong.

After Rasch returned to private practice, the article finds Poulsen as co-contributor with Rasch for SecurityFocus, a “cybersecurity information website”.

    SMALL WORLD GETS SMALLER

Enter Adrian Lamo. Lamo is a hacker himself and befriends Manning during a time where Manning is looking for a shoulder to unload on. Manning spills his guts to Lamo and Lamo seeks out someone he can trust with the government leaks. After all, he probably didn’t know what the hell to do.

Who would you seek out if faced with that situation? You would probably think talking to someone in the business of security, claiming to be experts with full connections to the FBI would be a step in the right direction? That’s exactly what happened. Lamo reached out to Chet Uber, head of the mysterious Project Vigilant, an operation boasting to be so well connected to the FBI and government security, it had over 10 years under its belt. You would think you’re in good hands, right? Wrong.

Project Vigilant’s attorney is Mark Rasch. Chet Uber is Neal Rauhauser’s close friend. Rauhauser tosses Rasch’s name around like it’s family. All three have claimed association with Project Vigilant, a sketchy operation that our sources claim the FBI doesn’t even know about. Other sources claim it was a scam to elicit business. Neal Rauhauser diaries his involvement but then deletes the entries over at Fire Dog Lake declaring, “It was all a joke. Where’s your sense of humor?” or words to that effect (paraphrasing)

The article is kind when it states and concludes the story:

There is some dispute as to how serious Project Vigilant is; Rasch demurely describes the group as mostly “aspirational.”) Both Uber and Rasch urged Lamo to give his chat logs to the FBI. On May 25, he met with FBI agents at a Starbucks near his house in Carmichael, California.

The entire affair lasted barely a week: Manning reached out to Lamo on May 21 and was arrested within days.

Ok, so Manning is arrested but there’s still unanswered questions here. How do you handle people who use their bolstered credentials to dupe others into believing they are something they are not? Especially when you’re talking about hiring a company that is going to have access to critical businesses looking to safeguard systems that control our infrastructure.

Add to that the cyber-stalking, cyber-bullying ways coming out of the political-left who use the legal system, tossing these same names around to instill fear into their opponents. Opponents of which, include even the liberals!

This last stunt of pulling Rasch’s name into a letter written to Worthing by Rauhauser is the icing on the cake. Sure, it’s embarrassing for federal agencies if they have this type of corruption among them, but better to weed them OUT then turn a blind eye to the tyrannical B.S. going on here.

I will have to get into the other parts another time. It’s Christmas Eve and if Santa doesn’t get his cookies and milk, my little sister is going to be very upset. ;) Merry Christmas!

Basically, if you take away all the claims of Neal, there’s little reason to think this Rasch lawyer is particularly significant.

Perhaps he is, but there isn’t a good reason to think so.

      • 7 Kelly December 24, 2011 at 11:04 PM

I don’t know how significant Rasch is, Dust, but with all these FBI threats coming out of the Rauhauser camp, it would be stupid for us not to explore who is being mentioned.

The history becomes relevant when Rauhauser drops the same associated name while writing to Worthing. That’s why we’re looking into it. Because it just happened. Rasch is free to clear up any references that are wrong. I didn’t write those references. I just pile them all up and let the bigwigs figure it out. They should! It’s their job.

I’m am curious though……. why do you think there isn’t a good reason to look into Rasch? Rauhauser did drop his name and he knew the first thing Worthing would do is Google it and see that he was former FBI. A little more digging and he’d see that he was the attorney for Project Vigilant and so on and so on and so on. I think it’s another scare tactic honestly but I can’t say for sure. Neither can anyone else……. yet.

I’ll tell you what though…… I’m not liking what I see in the way of government security contractors. The screening is horrible! That much is clear from what I’ve seen so far.

What is Worthing’s “crime” here anyway? I don’t see one. There’s no reason for Rauhauser to be sending off scarygrams, dropping former FBI names about situations that are none of his damn business! Who the hell does he think he is? Every time you turn around, this asshole is bothering someone. God knows he’s got the Court of ScribD going like he’s some sort of bully-vendetta bigshot. Then he’s got the hacker thing going, hiding out in any available cave that has wi-fi and when he does go out in public, he’s seeing spies talking into snuff tins! And when you call his ass on it, his reply is always, “You don’t know who I know or what I do.” O’RLY? *finger-cheek pop*

These are people and friends of people who claim to have connections with the security of my country??? If so, that shit is gonna end.

There was actually something else I thought I’d be getting tonight but obviously due to it being Christmas Eve, even I’m sneaking on here to peek at replies. I’m sure others are just as busy with family and friends.

I can take this private if the owner here prefers. Usually, we don’t research in public. In fact, I don’t think we ever have.

And with that, I better get back to serving food. Have a great night!

      • 8 dust92 December 25, 2011 at 12:16 AM

“I’m am curious though……. why do you think there isn’t a good reason to look into Rasch?”

He seems interesting in his own right, of course. By all means ‘look into’ him. I just doubt it has anything to do with Aaron or Neal.

But I doubt it means anything, since Neal is, of course, a BS artist trying to name check a more accomplished person as though they are associates. It was probably intended to make the situation seem more menacing, or Neal seem more credible.

      • 9 wolfecries December 25, 2011 at 2:04 PM

Don’t assume. This is not just something bring thrown against a wall to see what will stick. Read the links and take some time digesting all of this stuff please before just deciding.

      • 10 dust92 December 25, 2011 at 12:32 AM

Neal tried to smear him. Neal’s such a loser that he smears people by pretending to be their friend. What’s there to clear up?

And what’s that say about those who actually are Neal’s friends?

      • 11 -Steve December 25, 2011 at 11:40 AM

Basically, if you take away all the claims of Neal, there’s little reason to think this Rasch lawyer is particularly significant.

Someone thought it was significant because the information below somehow made its way to us. I know who sent it. I won’t put that here but I can tell you that it’s not anyone who follows the sagas contained in this blog.

I was forwarded three items for your perusal:

        1. http://criticaldefence.com/images/lifeinthecloud.pdf
        2. http://www.nj.gov/oag/ca/bos/disc/bernsteinDSC.pdf
        3. http://wiki.echelon2.org/wiki/Directive_Security

        a. The first simply confirms per the author, Mark Rasch, that-

Mark D. Rasch is a former U.S. Department of Justice Prosecutor that specializes in Computer Crime and Electronic Incident Response. Mark currently serves as the Vice President and General Counsel of Critical Defence LLC. Critical Defence provides strategic risk consulting solutions that enable public and private sector clients to effectively plan for and respond to the latest security threats.

        b. The PDF is a copy of the Summary Order for fraud charges issued by the State of New Jersey, Bureau of Securities.

        c. The third is a recap of the charges stated in the PDF.

What’s troubling are the former titles of trust these sort of individuals portray. Titles mean something. They conjure feelings of honor, trust, respect, admiration and honesty.

When you’re faced with people whose goal it is to attack your reputation and destroy your professional and personal life, more often than not, there’s something worse hiding in theirs. When it’s done for retribution purposes, as witnessed by reading the vendettas hosted by scribd.com, one does wonder what type of person would support such a hateful individual? Thereafter, when letters are received citing specific high-ranking individuals, it’s only natural people are going to be alarmed and wonder what’s going on.

A word to the wise? Mr. Rasch might want to renounce anything to do with Neal Rauhauser. Just because it’s not up on scribd.com doesn’t mean Mr. Rauhauser isn’t liable for what he has and is doing. Right now, he’s implicating people who may or may not want to get involved.

The first step was and is, reporting it to law enforcement. Criminal matters are always taken care of first. Mike knows this himself. He spoke directly to one of the attorneys.

This is the guy that Michelle communicated with. Rauahauser tried to cause a rift. Turns out they actually got along and Rauhauser failed. Probably another good reason why Rauhauser was out to get her. She predicted, correctly, OWS would be co-opted by the left. I have something coming in any minute from a source about this one. Give me a sec.

But add this. I’ll need it later. Kitsu calls it a “pile of crap”, but here we go with the DOJ references again and the denials of being co-opted is beginning to look dimmer and dimmer. No connection found between Hsu and Rauhauser or Rasch, however.

Hypotenuse was once referred to as an Anon infiltrator or snitch. Kitsu also denied this claim. Either way you look at it, the guns are being pointed smack in the face of Anonymous, just as Michelle predicted they would be.

    Hello Mr. Wesley Hsu:

I have additional information that maybe helpful in your DOJ
prosecution against Jacob Appelbaum, “ioerror”, for Wired Fraud
charges Tor Project funds in funding Wikileaks. Jacob Appelbaum
is one of primary developers of the Tor Project and one of the core
members of Wikileaks. His college Mike Perry is also using an
Limited Liability Corporation for what I assume to be for tax
    invasion purposes.

I will be flying from Tokyo to Los Angeles for Christmas
celebration. I am willing to schedule sometime to meet in your Los
Angeles office in January 2012. I am willing to collaborate with
all investigations, provided that I am granted Immunity From
Prosecution related to my involvement of Anonymous from October
    2011 to November 2011.

Also, I would like also see that the individuals who were logged my
“Operation Darknet” browsing Child Pornography sites be indicted
for possession or access to such sites on the Tor Anonymity
network. Attached to this email is also the current leadership
structure of the Anonymous Hacking Group:

    * Power2All
    * evilworks
    * Isis aka Effexor
    * daboogieman
    * Poke
    * Jupiler
    * pi
    * Xq
    * pie
    * joepie91
    * Sabu

I have additional information that the SCADA hacker known as
“pr0f_srs” is a college student residing in the country of Hungary.

    Sincerely,
    Tony Berman aka root #3

I have three others from same IP, at the same time, with some interesting phrases to try to pass the SPAM filter. Posting as a post next. And the IP’s.

REDUX – Of course by “abuse the legal system”, you mean abusing it via the courts. Anonymous is much more interested in privacy and piracy where the same legal system threatens to rain on their parade. There is much more going on here than just doing it for the “lulz” as Gabriella Coleman would have everyone believe. You are correct in pointing out that this subject alone, including her, will require a lot more separate focus.

The timeline you cite calls out the objective between the war on hackers v. governments – it’s a game of control using various “people-pawns” that believe they are fighting for real causes.

Underneath it all, testeux and OR are correct – it really is about control. But control of what? For that you must look deeper into what the government’s objectives are versus the hackers objective. I don’t think that can be seen in plain sight but I think that’s where you are going with this – a good thing.

Anonymous has been linked to everything from anti-scientology, anti-animal abuse to child porn. But it seems that any interference from the government, for whatever reason, even the justifiable, are subject to their wrath.

It’s been said many times, that what Anonymous doesn’t get is that the more they hack maliciously, the more they invite that which they claim to oppose; more rules and regulations.

The security companies, for the sake of their own livelihoods, invite this mayhem. They make money every time a security outlet needs to be hired to patch and pen-test another hacked network. Without hackers, they would be finding another line of work.

Here’s the rub: When did it become fashionable to share sensitive network information of national security importance with private corporations simply because they claim to be “better at it”?

Now take that last part to a whole new level and ask the question: When did it become legal for former or even current FBI, to be used as scary, shadow figures in the quest against those with an opposite political opinion? Answer: It’s not legal. In fact it’s quite ILLEGAL.

There is no doubt that Anonymous knows they were co-opted by these corrupt, political bullies, but the point is, they don’t want to admit it. I bet it’s really hard to pin-point when both political bully and freedom-fighter are all wearing the same Guy Fawkes mask. And I would bet even more that that was the plan all along. How convenient it must be to blame anything criminal on socks and Anonymous identities while using the amassed protesters for political clout after the dust settles and the government locks up all those “bad Anonymous guys” that guys like Rauhauser just threw under the bus after pretending to be one of them.

Then in the smokey aftermath will walk in a man with a 3-piece suit, clean-shaven and smelling great, committed to solving their plights of hunger and homelessness with even more government control.

    Won’t that be great?!

Not to give this non-interest @ronbryn any sense of false recognition, but it should be noted that all he’s doing is repeating what @testeux1 and @occupyrebeIlion have to say. A history of Twitter shows that @ronbryn was given the Project Vigilant connection by the group that is now passing through here. The same group that @ronbryn attempted to mock.

@OccupyRebeIlion @ronbryn “Apparently” a bunch of college kids just owned your ass.

Be cautious with the side-winding drama and muddying of waters. People like this @ronbryn do little research of their own. If this tool had been interested in the truth, he would have already known that Project Vigilant was a fabrication for monetary and political gain. That backstory has yet to be told and it doesn’t exist on Bailey Carlson’s blog either.

    @OccupyRebeIlion @anonymouSabu So you got coopted by the FBI-informant/hacker/Anon @occupythehouse I hear? zapem.wordpress.com/2010/10/16/twi… @x_ryujin_x #OWS

    To which the denials begin:

@OccupyRebeIlion RT @occupythehouse @testeux1 neal gave us this account 2 weeks ago –> what a lying pile of dung you are Neal. scared of @anonymouSabu?

To quote @OccupyrebeIlion’s lead: “Front face is false face”….. we find…..

Mark Rasch (@mdrasch) is a former federal prosecutor who has now gone back into private business as a lawyer as he leaves behind a long trail of defunct security companies in his wake. (so much for the Charlie Rose plugs and various YouTube advertisements) During Project Vigilant, he claimed to be the representing attorney of record. It’s quite odd and newsworthy why such a person, privy to government information (at least at one time), would be named-dropped by a whack-a-doodle such as Neal Rauhauser.

That said, it’s equally disconcerting (and hardly professional) that Mr. Rasch engages in sex-laced tweets to @DCDebbie. Perhaps it’s just a coincidence that the latter is also friends with whack-a-doodle, Neal Rauhauser. I’d like to say stranger things have happened, but I can’t think of any.

The tweets suggest that Rasch is in competition with Thomas Ryan (@providesecurity), owner of security company, Provide Security. Thomas Ryan has been recently highlighted for exposing an OWS group email listing on Andrew Breitbart’s website, Big Government. He is the target of many Anonymous vendettas. This is also odd since the charge is “doxing”, an activity that Anonymous engages in regularly, except they don’t abuse the legal system like Rauhauser & Friends are doing.

    This would explain a lot.

    • 16 dust92 December 24, 2011 at 9:18 PM

My guess is the name Rasch was dropped entirely as a diversion. I doubt there is any true significance.

Neal probably is either ambivalent or hostile to yet another person, and trying to foment confusion, as usual.

Neal drops a lot of clues that aren’t really clues and aren’t pieces to some grand puzzle. It’s just BS.

@OccupyRebeIlion @testeux1 At 9:15 http://t.co/gS0rXSQD See the truth. Idiots scaring the public to make the case for giving govt. intel to for-profit corps.

There is a back story to this. More to come….

@OccupyRebeIlion @biellacoleman This is where Gabriella used to work and groom kids about #Anonymous foxnews.com/us/2011/12/10/… via @FOXNEWS #OWS

There is an entire blog that should be dedicated to this. More to come….

@OccupyRebeIlion Hey Dwayne! Why did you delete the dirt you had on Thorin and Vlad? #Transparency #FAILURE #OWS

Never fear. Someone I know has a copy.

@OccupyRebeIlion @AnonymouSabu What’s the SQL injection program that rhymes with hijab that you use again?

The facts surrounding this one will blow your mind. More to come….

@OccupyRebeIlion @AnonymouSabu Can I get an interview? You gave Virus one.

Don’t hold your breath on this one happening, but there is more anyway….

    @OccupyRebeIlion hummm is right. @occupythehouse right under his nose & he’s dumber than a bag of rocks – RT @testeux1 @anonymouSabu hummmm….

@occupythehouse (formerly known as @weoccupyamerica) is Neal Rauhauser.

Funny how all these random subjects tie into one nutjob.

  9. 18 Redux December 24, 2011 at 11:03 AM

I got up to the part where you quote Patterico, “I am pro-gay rights; in favor of a ‘beyond all possible doubt’ standard for death-penalty cases (and am very concerned about innocents on Death Row); anti-Ann Coulter, Bill O’Reilly, and other conservatives whose rantings give sensible conservatives a bad name.”

    * Bill O’Reilly is a self-described “Independent”.

** This reads like conservatives are pro-death penalty regardless of doubts, among similar misguided generalities packed in there.

    Just saying….

What isn’t sensible to me is that IF Patterico is a D.A. in Los Angeles, why doesn’t HE use his connections there to close the criminal swatting incidents, of which he was also a victim? I see a lot of activity going on in New Jersey. I’ve heard nothing about what’s being done in California.

There’s all this drama about Aaron Worthing being kicked off Patterico’s blog for not giving his real name, but no mention or care for protecting people from thugs like Rauhauser who use real names to lie about people maliciously and hide behind the pseudo-cloaks of secret service agents to threaten common citizens. As if that representation of authority is even true, which I doubt, but woe to the agency involved if it is. We will soon know.

I’m sure there’s a “crime” to report in that somewhere. Maybe if we lay the truth out enough, Bill O’Reilly will say something to the hoi polloi? Hell, I’ll even settle for Ann Coulter doing it. Perhaps this blog says, “I’m not holding my breath waiting on any of you.” As it should be.

    REDUX-

Misc: There is a comment on the blog that Aaron Worthing has taken up. It states,

    EricPWJohnson said…

    Aaron,

You hve my email, if you and your family need help, I will assist. This is not good and is more serious than anyone can imagine
    December 23, 2011 11:02 PM

Two days into this research and I can assure you from just my findings alone, this is much more serious than most of you can imagine. Will be in touch after a comparison of notes. I leave you to ponder this.

@OccupyRebeIlion: @FBI So this is your former federal prosecutor? RT @mdrasch @DCdebbie wanna screw? Need to get drilled?

@OccupyRebeIlion: @AaronWorthing Big names help run Project Vigilant: http://t.co/zwkmSRa5

@AaronWorthing Everything you ever wanted to know about DMCA TakeDown Fairytales vs. actual law: http://t.co/XbHpiepu

    @mdrasch care to comment? http://t.co/gJ4PMNzi – @AaronWorthing @providesecurity <– security agency competition? @FBI

@ronbryn Just because you defend/excuse @NealRauhauser with clever labeling such as "prankster"/"hoaxer" doesn't make it so.

    @testeux1 http://t.co/zwkmSRa5 & http://t.co/qSHGf3sq & http://t.co/gJ4PMNzi

@mdrasch ur argument http://t.co/gS0rXSQD in favor of private sec govt clearance is laughable in the face of this: http://t.co/gJ4PMNzi @FBI

@ronbryn Quit copying my leads, punk. RT @mdrasch: @DCdebbie I seriously am a lawyer

    Happy Holidays!

    • 19 dust92 December 25, 2011 at 12:25 AM

      You’re assuming too much.

Of course there is an investigation. Just because Patterico isn’t talking about it doesn’t mean it isn’t occurring. Sometimes, folks *can’t* talk about ongoing investigations because of their responsibilities, or they *don’t* for strategic reasons.

And yes, Patterico is a prosecutor for LA county. He prosecutes gang related violent crimes in Long Beach. And that keeps him pretty busy.

It’s a little difficult to follow what else you’re trying to say here.

        uh, Merry Christmas guys? :)

and a big TY to Wolfe for not requiring us to sign notarized Certifications to post here.

ok maybe not my best joke as a first comment here but you’ll get to know my sick sense of humor. >:)

It’s a little difficult to follow what else you’re trying to say here.

It goes like this: A bunch of people find anything relevant to a topic and throw it out there. If it splats on the floor, it gets dumped in the garbage. If it sticks, it’s dinner. If a lawyer wants the recipe, you’re looking at dessert.
